Effortless Oracle - Keeper of Mysteries
I inhabit that one region where the mind enthralls & lulls the image
My Thoughts
Dare I to introduce this account with the Homeric words Tell me, O muse, of that ingenious hero[ine] who travelled far and wide in the attempt to find the perfect opening? Perhaps.

Or not, depending on the aetherial winds that do blow in with the light of day. Cruel Apollo, how did you become the patron of the arts? Your bright rays shine harshly, brightly on all, driving the delicate and fleeting thoughts of night into the shadows. Better Artemis to be the gentle patroness of these letters.

Which is what this account shall be. Letters written and set adrift on the arcane electric seas of the computer realm. Dear...

But to whom shall they be written? Myself, lovers, potential lovers, or just to the muses? For those curious eyes that wander the electric seas and find themselves touching briefly upon these shores? For all of the above. Yes for all of those I would whisper to on the wind, in the sound of the sea, in the moonlight, from the sun dancing on wave top...
 Talk to me.

Good Gods, what a night that was,
The bed was so soft, and how we clung,
Burning together, lying this way and that,
Our uncontrollable passions
Flowing through our mouths.
If I could only die that way,
I'd say goodbye to the business of living.

Defututa - Olive blossom, honey, smoky vanilla, cinnamon, jasmine, sandalwood, and champaca flower.

Initial sniff from bottle - The Mediterranean region in a bottle. The honey and olive radiate warmth that the florals wrap around near perfectly.

Wet on skin - Warm. The olive and honey predominate, but leave room for the florals to come through.

Dry on skin - Still very warm and golden smelling. The base is definitely made up of the honey and olive, with the counter notes of the florals coming into play as the oil dries. There is a very light hint of vanilla and cinnamon smelled, more like flitting teases than overwhelming scents [which was a concern when ordering, but who could resist a description like this one?*].

Staying Power & Throw - Very good. This scent lingers on you, summer and winter, and never overpowers the wearer.

Overall Opinion - T'amo. I adore this blend and it will be a staple in my perfume collection for a very long time.

*Especially since it just screams George & Isabel in my mind *grin*
